Spacious rooms, scenic terrace, delicious meals, convenient location for Florence, Pisa. Perfect for families with horses, pool, and kids' activities.

It was in a bit ecclectic area with lots of graffiti on the buildings surrounding the area. A fun location for mid twenty to thirty year olds who want to be near night life.
For the reasons above, it was not an ideal location for a family on vaction trying to see the key sights of the city. My children were a bit intimadated by the graffitti and rooms which were a bit dated.

This agriturisimo is beautiful. The grounds are breathtaking, the rooms are adequate. The breakfast was tasty and the wine was wonderful. There is a delightful pool and horseback riding available. The staff is kind and friendly.
There are a few things that they could work on: 1. We expected a 'quiet' stay in the countryside of Tuscany, however one way that Podere dell' Anselmo makes money is to host dinner parties which start at 8:00pm and go late (we went to one of them and it was fun and delicious). Several of the parties went until at least 1:00am, and this was right outside our room! 2. Our air-conditioning didn't work so we had to have the window open which made the parties sound like they were inside our room and brought in all the mosquitos (suggestion to Podere dell' Anselmo - get screens for the windows). 3. We had to ask for soap - the cleaning lady didn't think to replace the one we used.

Unbelievable staff, great food, pool, locally produced wine.
Not the best place for couples looking for calm / romance, more family oriented.

We just had our second stay at this beautiful vineyard property and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. the staff, especially Fabrizio, was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. the calm and peaceful atmosphere in April and October was perfect for us. Our room on the second floor had a lovely view from the window. the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and our 8-year-old loved the pool, horse riding, and interacting with the cats. the walk to Montespertoli was also very scenic. We appreciated the transfer provided by Fabrizio, even during the busy grape harvest. the convenient location, with a local bus stop just a short walk away, made it easy for us to explore Florence.
We will definitely consider coming back to Podere Dell'Anselmo again. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

We had friends who had stayed at the hotel before and recommended it to us and it was great. Exactly what you would want in the Tuscan countryside. It was a great location..about 35 minutes from Florence and an hour or two on the beautiful scenic route to all other major Tuscan destinations in the area...Chianti, Sienna, etc. The staff was excellent and the owner showed us the winery section of the villa. The meal is extra but well worth the money as it was fabulous several course meal.

Highlight of our trip in Italy. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too difficult. We did a cooking class with Laura and Julia which was great fun, particularly as we had a great dinner (made by the cooking school group) with lovely wine made on the property after. We would definately stay again and recommend this gem to our friends. Thank you Fabritzio, Laura and Julia !!

This is jewll in the crown, relaxing , idyllic location in easy reach of Florence , Siena , Lucca , Monte Catini etc via the Fi -Pi -Li .The owner Fabrzio is a superb welcoming ,pleasant and easy going guy nothing is to much trouble for him.The vineyard produces superb quality wine & his evening meals are the stuff of legend .We were on honeymoon and it was brilliant, the pool and beds were all well kept & clean , we made many new friends their.
Due to the fact that it is Agritourism surrounded by Vineyards & stables the local insect population were extremely persistant despite a multitude of sprays ,plug ins etc

This place is by far one of the greatest places me and my family have stayed at. Not the most luxurious, or most fancy, however the most relaxing places you and your family can find. This place put your mind at ease, also with the the hospitality from Fabrizio, and his excellent wines, and the gourmet food.

The friendly atmosphere created by the owners always ready to provide you with useful tips for sightseeing or good restaurants nearby. The dinner organized for hotel guests: everyone around 1 big table, like a family gathering. The absolutely fabulous house products (olive oil and vine). Perfect location to visit Florence/Pisa/Sienna and the Chianti region. We went off season and were not very lucky with the weather but the swimming pool, the horse riding facility and the gardens looked very tempting!
